During that time, Kent has been involved in the development of some of the most prestigious planned communities in the U.S., including St. James Plantation, Landfall, Pinehurst National, Governors Club, Lake Las Vegas, and, recently, The Cliffs Communities – a company devoted to the development of luxury residential communities within the United States and around the world.

Tim R. Newell, Principal
A 28-year veteran in the land development industry, Tim has provided master planning and project management for successful recreational and resort communities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. As a development partner he has managed the design, entitlement, and construction activities of planned communities in the Carolinas, Georgia and most recently New Mexico, and has had his projects recognized by some of the world’s leading publications, including Travel & Leisure Magazine, Caribbean & Latin American Voyager Magazine, Builder Magazine, Land Development Magazine and The Chicago Tribune.

Tim is a frequent national seminar speaker on land development and has served as a two-term member of the NAHB Land Developers Committee and as a member of the ULI Panel Advisory Services Team.

Michael Plant, Principal
The Executive Vice President/Business Operations for the Atlanta Braves, Michael Plant served as Executive Vice President of Turner Sports, is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and President of the Goodwill Games and USA Cycling. An avid outdoorsman, Mike’s love and respect for the great outdoors has been underscored time-and-again throughout his 10-year career as a real estate developer and investor. For three of those years he as indulged in a personal quest, scouring his beloved American west—Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico—for a piece of land big enough, and bold enough, to encompass his dreams.
